Lecturer at the Department of mathematics and naXys, University of Namur (Belgium)

Within the Department of Mathematics, you will take on teaching, research and service missions. Specifically:

• A course load of approximately 160 hours/year will be defined with the successful candidate. This charge will contain courses at both bachelor’s and master’s levels, for students of mathematics as well as other disciplines. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to offer more specialized teaching related to his or her field of research.

• You will develop a research axis within the Ins)tute for Interdisciplinary Research in Complex Systems naXys (hYps://www.naxys.be), preferably among the following themes: statistical learning, theory and methodological development in machine learning, computational mathematics, mathematical modeling, heuristic optimization, nonlinear problems, stochastic processes and networks.
